The GVB Schools Day Ticket is a paper chip card for primary schools, day care and after-school child care centres. The ticket is suitable for supervised school trips and costs €2.50 per child. The day ticket provides children and their supervisors unlimited travel on all GVB trams, buses and metros.
Validity
After initial check-in, the Schools Day Ticket is valid for the rest of the same day. The ticket is not valid on the night bus. During the day, you may transfer as many times as want to other GVB vehicles. The Schools Day Ticket, as with other ticket types, requires everyone to check in and out every time. The Schools Day Ticket is only valid on GVB vehicles, and is not valid for transferring to Connexxion or EBS vehicles, for example.
It is not possible for the child's supervisor to travel with the Schools Day Ticket when the child is not present. Conversely, a child may not travel with the Schools Day Ticket without a supervisor from the child care, day care centre or school, being present.
