Are you travelling by metro? If so, you can only enter with a bicycle near doors that have a blue bicycle sticker. Place your bicycle in the designated area. The metro and tram 26 have space for up to two bicycles.
Can I bring my pet onto public transport (OV)?
Pets are permitted on buses, trams, the metro and the ferry if they stay on your lap, in a bag or are kept on a short leash. Support dogs and seeing-eye dogs are also welcome!
Can I bring my pushchair onto public transport (OV)?
Before you continue
Always place your pushchair in the wheelchair area and keep the walkway clear. Not much room? Fold up the pushchair.
You are responsible for the safety of your child. Make sure that you activate the brake on your pushchair and your child is secure.
Listen closely to instructions from GVB employees. If you do not follow them, the employees are authorised to end your journey.
Wheelchair users always take priority over pushchairs. For example, if you are standing in the wheelchair area and a wheelchair user boards the bus or tram, you must fold up your pushchair and make room.
Taking a pushchair on public transport (OV)
You can bring your pushchair onto public transport (OV) for free. There is a special area for pushchairs on buses and trams. You will recognise this area by the wheelchair sticker. This is where you can put the pushchair.
Are you travelling by bus? If so, the wheelchair/pushchair area is in the centre, near the exit doors. This area is in a different section for trams. On the latest trams, it is often near the entrance with the double doors. On older trams, it is a bit farther back, near the conductor.
